Who we are
This policy applies to aususedgolfballs.com, operated by Aus Used Golf Balls, based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
What we collect
We collect information you provide directly, and information generated automatically when you use the site:
- Order information: name, email address, shipping address, and the items you purchase.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Square, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number, expiry, or CVV — Square tokenizes this in your browser before it reaches us.
- Subscription information: if you join Ball Club subscription, the brand, grade, box size and plan you choose, your delivery address, and (for monthly plans) a card saved securely with Square so it can be charged each month. We never see or store the full card number.
- Contact form information: your name, email, and message, if you get in touch.
- Cookies: necessary cookies to keep your cart working, and — only if you consent via our cookie banner — optional analytics cookies to help us understand site usage. See "Cookies" below.
How we use it
- To process, fulfil, and ship your order
- To communicate with you about an order or enquiry
- To send you marketing emails (restocks, deals, reminders, and one reminder if you leave items in your cart), only if you sign up to our newsletter or tick the box at checkout. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we use Brevo to send them
- To improve the site, if you've consented to analytics cookies
- For fraud prevention and to meet our legal obligations
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary information with:
- Square (payment processing and recurring billing for monthly plans) — see Square's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data
- Our courier — name, address, and contact details needed to deliver your order
- Cloudflare — our hosting provider, which processes standard web traffic logs to serve the site
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies to keep the site functioning (e.g. remembering what's in your cart). With your consent via the cookie banner, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your preference at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including relying on Square's PCI-compliant infrastructure for all payment handling and Cloudflare's security infrastructure for hosting. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

We retain order information for as long as necessary to comply with our tax and accounting obligations, and to handle any related enquiries. Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.
